Task planning

Comprehensively manage the tasks and milestones of your projects in an intelligent task list. With the integrated grouping function, tasks can be combined into a group, guaranteeing a permanent overview even in the case of complex associations or projects. The tree-like depiction of tasks and groups allows for quick navigation into sub-sections, increasing not only user friendliness but also planning efficiency. A variety of functions is available on every task level, such as creating and editing tasks or new groups. Dependencies between tasks, resources, costs, expense and much more can be modified via the settings of each task.

Visual display

The project plan, with all tasks and milestones, is shown parallel to the tabular view as a Gantt diagram. The Gantt diagram displays the tasks in a timeline and makes dependencies, duration and resource utilization apparent.

The timeline can be enlarged or reduced using the zoom function, to display the milestones in the case of longer-running projects, for example.

Resources, task name and duration can be activated or deactivated in the Gantt diagram as needed. This function is extremely helpful in the case of heavily compartmentalized projects or task areas which comprise many sub-tasks.

Resource management

With integrated resource management, you can manage and plan various types of resources in sem.Planner. Via the resource view, resources can be created, managed and evaluated. Each resource can be a person or an object, such as a machine, which can be assigned to any task.

With the resource settings, it is possible to save additional information with the resource, such as unit, currency or the like, in order to later determine costs and expense.

Simple navigation

The modern toolbar, based on familiar office applications, enables not only simple operation of numerous functions but also increases processing efficiency, as only those functions are shown which are available for the current action.

Tasks can be easily and comfortably processed via the toolbar using the copy, paste and move functions. The depiction of tasks via a hierarchical tree view provides an additional overview of associated tasks, milestones or information.

Sharing & collaboration

By integrating in the semYOU Cloud Office, every project plan can be easily shared with other employees. Which users/groups have which permissions in this project plan can be determined by the rights concept upon creating a new project plan. Differentiation can be made here between simple read and write permissions.
